The Independent National Electoral Commission has recommended eligible voters to visit its online site to find their polling units in the next general election.

The News Agency of Nigeria reported that the commission provided the information in a brief statement headlined “Information for all eligible voters,” which was released on Sunday in Abuja.

This, according to the commission, was crucial since it had transferred some allotted voters from packed polling places to uncrowded ones nearby to encourage a stress-free voting experience on election day.

“INEC, acting in accordance with its authority under Section 40(2) of the Electoral Act, 2022, has moved voters from busy polling places to uncrowded ones in an effort to make voting on election day more enjoyable and stress-free.

It adviced voters to please check their names on the voter list and validate the location of their voting units by visiting the INEC’s Voter Verification System at www.cvr.inecnigeria.org/vvs or voters.inecnigeria.org.

The commission also stated that each polling location would have a list of the 176,846 registered voters in it prior to election day.
