The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has established a committee to address the grievances of party members in Adamawa State in preparation for the 2027 governorship election.
Recall that the state chapter of the APC has faced internal discord since its defeat in the 2023 governorship election.
In response, the committee, led by Senator Mohammed Mana, has been tasked with reconciling aggrieved members and unifying the party ahead of the upcoming elections.
According to reports from Daily Trust, the committee recently met with the party’s state and local government executives, as well as other key stakeholders, at the party’s state secretariat as part of its efforts to fulfill its mandate.
During the meeting, Mana expressed confidence that the APC would reclaim power in the state through their collective efforts.
He also praised the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, for his role in fostering peace within the state chapter of the party.
