“YPP means Young Progressives Party, a perfect substitute for Old (All) Progressives Congress. The party is for the progressive young minds, like all of you.

“And now…I have a new flag and the journey continues. There’s no stopping by God’s Grace.

“Gentle Ladies and Men, this is the future. Join me in YPP, let’s deliver a NEW DEAL for Nigeria,” he tweeted in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle.

Garba’s resignation from the APC comes hours after the presidential aspirant received an N83.2million donation to fund his presidential ambitions withdrew from the race.

However, Garba promised to return the funds to the donors, urging them to send an email with evidence of payment.
