Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on Wednesday commiserated with the leadership and members of the People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State, over the demise of their Chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams.
The governor’s condolence message was contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
The statement reads in part, “The Governor describes the late Adams as a complete gentleman who as a leader of opposition in the State played politics without bitterness and as a member of the State House of Assembly contributed his quota to the development of the State.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa describes the death of Adams as a great loss to the political family, the people of Irun Akoko, Akoko North West and Ondo State.
“The Governor commiserates
with his family and prays for God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.”
The PDP’s Publicity Secretary, Kennedy Peretei who confirmed the incident said Fatai died on Wednesday morning.
