Atiku’s aide raises alarm over presidency’s plot to arrest him

A Spokesperson to the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, Daniel Bwala has raised alarm, over alleged plans by the presidency to get him arrested.

Bwalala who made the allegation via his X handle on Monday, alleged that the government is planning to arrest him through the help of security agencies, by taking him into custody on trumped-up allegations to rubbish and silence him, that he is making the the government uncomfortable.

He explained that he had always known that when he left the ruling All Progressives Congress, he might be persecuted for what he believes in and stand for.

The PDP Chieftain however called on the security agencies and the media, to take note if anything happened to him.

“Last night I got credible intelligence that some key people around the seat of power (Presidential Aso Vila) of this government are planning to use security agencies (s) to arrest me and take me into custody on trumped-up allegations in other to rubbish me and silence me. That I am making them and the government uncomfortable.

“Let the world know today, that I have always known that from my stands on the same faith ticket which led to my leaving APC, and consequent posture as political opposition, it might irk the deep state and come with persecution for what I believe in and stand for.

“If anything happens to me, let the world know today of their evil plans,” he tweeted.
