A popular Nigerian singer and activist, Charles Oputa also known as Charlie Boy has reacted to Adamawa State governor, Ahmadu Fintiri’s victory, stating that ‘Obidients’ are allergic to rigging.
The music star who took to his Twitter handle reiterated that the ‘Obidient’ faithful voice out ills even when it does not benefit them.
He praised them for having the courage to speak the truth at all times, not minding whom it is directed to.
However, he alleged that other party members do not behave like that, adding that one is free to go and verify.
His tweet reads: “Obidients are calling out Binani and APC’s rigging ooo. Not that they even have an LP candidate running ooo. By now, people should know that Obidients are allergic to rigging. It doesn’t have to benefit them, before they speak truth to power! They speak against tyranny irrespective of whom it is thrown at!
“PDP boys and girls can never be like Obidients. An average Obidient is a well-meaning Nigerian. All of them usually fume and wage war against injustice regardless of where it’s coming from. Go and Verify.”
