Buhari lands Nasarawa for rally, project unveiling

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has arrived Nasarawa to unveil the Federal Government projects including the Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Development Institute.

 

Buhari is also expected to proceed to the All Progressive Congress rally in the state for the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, after the several project unveilings.

 

The News Agency of Nigeria reported that amongst the projects to be unveiled is the AMEDI, which is one of the Buhari regime’s legacies meant to make Nigeria a hub and supplier of agro-allied technology, equipment, and machinery.

 

AMEDI, a multi-billion naira product of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure is also aimed at making the nation self-sufficient in food production as well as creating more sustainable jobs for Nigeria’s teeming youths.

 

Buhari is also expected to unveil the newly constructed Federal Secretariat, in the state capital, Lafia and visit the Emir’s Palace in Lafia before attending the campaign rally of the APC at the Lafia Stadium.

 

The president is expected to return to Abuja immediately after the APC rally.
