Court adjourns senator Natasha’s suit against senate to March 25

The Federal High Court in Abuja has postponed the hearing of a case filed by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central Senatorial District, to March 25, 2025.

According to The PUNCH, the adjournment was due to the respondents informing the court that they had yet to receive the necessary legal documents.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan had filed the suit to prevent the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges from investigating her.

In an earlier ruling on March 5, 2025, Justice Obiora Egwuatu issued an order stopping the committee from proceeding with its probe.
