The Department of State Services has granted bail to Nigeria Labour Congress President, Joe Ajaero, allowing him to be released from custody.
Earlier on Monday, operatives of the DSS had arrested Ajaero at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on his way to the United Kingdom.
Recall that, following Ajaero’s arrest, the Nigeria Labour Congress gave the Federal Government a Monday midnight ultimatum to unconditionally release its him (Ajaero) or face dire consequences.
The NLC had fixed a National Executive Council meeting for Tuesday at 9am to take appropriate action if Ajaero is not released.
