Ekiti voters say no to vote-buying

The voters at the 001 polling unit in Ado Ekiti in the ongoing governorship election said they won’t indulge in vote-buying.

The voters, who had queued to cast their vote at Ward 8 in Efon-Ekiti, Efon Local Government Area of the state, said they won’t sell their vote.

The Peoples Democratic Paty governorship candidate of the state, Bisi Kolawole, cast his votes in the polling unit earlier today.

Taking a stand to exercise their franchise with good conscience and choice of candidate, the voters say no vote-buying will happen at the polling unit.

The voters said, “A a dibo se obe mo” which means they won’t trade their votes for money to cook a pot of stew.
