The immediate former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has announced that he has been appointed as a part-timer Chairman of an organization
El-Rufai who was recently denied confirmation of his Ministerial nomination by the Senate, announced on Monday, that he is set to resume the new job.
Premium Politics reported that El-Rufai, whose name was on the ministerial nominees’ list forwarded to the National Assembly by President Tinubu for screening and confirmation as Minister in his government, was not cleared for confirmation by the Senate, which claimed that it was due to security reasons.
However, the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory revealed on Monday 4th December, 2023, that he is set to resume as the part-time Chairman of the Board for Afri-Venture Capital Company Ltd.
He added that the company hopes to finance, nurture, and mentor young innovators and entrepreneurs in Nigeria, and Africa.
