Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Chibudom Nwuche, who represented Ahoada East/Abua Odual Federal Constituency of Rivers State, has praised the character, work ethic, and capacity of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike.
Nwuche made these remarks while hosting stakeholders and supporters at his Ochigba Country home in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State on Thursday.
During the gathering, stakeholders expressed their loyalty to Nwuche and reiterated their support for Wike and President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope administration. Nwuche highlighted Wike’s achievements, stating, “Ezenwo Nyesom Wike is a dependable and trustworthy personality. He has replicated the infrastructural development he carried out in Rivers State in Abuja such that the Nation’s capital has witnessed unprecedented infrastructural development in less than a year under his watch and supervision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
Nwuche noted that Wike’s performance as FCT Minister has received presidential commendation. He urged those present to spread the message of support for the Tinubu-led Federal Government and assured them of his continued commitment to the interests of the Ekpeye people.
Supporters from various political groups, including New Era, Esama Political Grassroots Advocacy, and Renewed Vision for Prince Chibudom Nwuche, pledged to take this message to the grassroots. Speaking on behalf of the EPGA Ahoada West LGA chapter, former Rivers State Commissioner Hon. Barr Uche Igbegiri thanked Nwuche for his leadership and collaboration with Wike in bringing development to Ekpeye land during Wike’s tenure as Governor.
Former Chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area, Chief Hon. Blessing Agbi, reaffirmed the Ekpeye people’s support for Nwuche as their leader and representative. Additionally, the Director General of EPGA Ahoada East, Mr. Jeffery Anugwo, explained that the visit stemmed from the grassroots’ desire to show solidarity and express their gratitude and support for Nyesom Wike and President Tinubu.
