The 24th Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi SAN, has officially resumed duty on Monday.
Fagbemi held a familiarization meeting with all heads of boards, parastatals and agencies under his Ministry as well as Directors of the Justice Ministry, shortly after he was Inaugurated, according to Tribune.
Solicitor General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice, Beatrice Jedy-Agba, described the newest Minister as a “consummate legal practitioner, prolific writer and distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria”.
Jedy-Agba said the entire staff of the Justice Ministry is happy to have him as Minister and assured of their support.
The highpoint of the meeting was the official handing over of the outgone ministerial administration and notes that covers the duties of the former minister.
