Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has visited the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, in Paris, France.
Tinubu left Nigeria about a week ago, for what his media office described as “strategic meetings” in the European country.
Otedola took to his Instagram page on Monday to share a photo of himself and Tinubu in Paris.
In his caption, he referred to Tinubu as his “great friend” and also said a word of prayer for him.
Premium Politics had earlier reported that Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Monday, tweeted a photo of himself with Tinubu.
“Spent quality time with our party leader and Presidential candidate, @officialABAT to rub minds on numerous party and National issues,” he wrote.
Tinubu’s stay overseas is amid controversy surrounding his choice of running mate ahea dof next year’s election.
Tinubu in order to meet the deadline given by the Independent Electoral Commission had named Ibrahim Masari as his surrogate running mate but he is faced with the challenge of an authentic running mate to replace the placeholder.
The Tinubu Support Group had on Monday endorsed Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State as Tinubu’s running mate but prospect of presenting a Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2023 has caused controversy in the ruling party.
