A former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has threatened a court case against the government of H.E Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, over the demolition of a five-storey building, belonging to Mrs. Olufunke Daniel, the wife of the former governor.

This was disclosed in a press statement, written by a legal firm, PAGE Law, representing Otunba Daniel.

Ogun State Government had on Sunday, September 10, 2023, allegedly demolished the five-storey plaza, said to belong to Mrs Daniel.

However, in a quick response to the development, PAGE law, led by Adeyinka Akitoye SAN, issued a press release threatening legal action against the Dapo Abiodun-led Ogun State government, should it be confirmed that the demolition order was certainly issued by the government.

Meanwhile, reports allegedly revealed that the demolition may not be unconnected to political differences between the two political figures in the state.
