In a move to reshuffle the Ondo State Executive Council, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has announced the portfolios for the newly inaugurated commissioners, marking a pivotal step in the state’s commitment to effective governance and development.
This was contained in a press release signed and issued on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Governor Aiyedatiwa, who assumed office in December 2023, has been at the forefront of driving change and innovation within the state’s administrative framework.
The newly assigned portfolios reflect a diverse range of expertise and are expected to bring fresh perspectives to the state’s development.
The appointments include: Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs, Amidu Takuro; Physical Planning & Urban Development, Hon Gbenga Olaniyi Esq; Water Resources & Sanitation, Hon Sunday Akinwalere; Agriculture, Hon Olayato Aribo; Health, Dr Banji Ajaka; Culture & Tourism, Hon. Rasheed Badmus;
Others are: Women Affairs & Social Development, Deaconess Lola Fagbemi; Youth & Sport, Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye; Education, Mr. Laolu Akindolire; Commerce & Industry, Pastor Segun Ayerin; Regional Integration & Development, Hon Boye Ologbese; Information & Orientation, Hon Wale Akinlosotu.
In addition to these appointments, Hon. Olugbenga Omole has been reassigned from the Ministry of Information to the Ministry of Transport as Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation.
