Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, on Thursday, unveiled another set of buses for the Katsina State Transport Authority, as part of his efforts to improve the transportation system in the state.
In a statement issued after the event, the governor said the new buses were a significant step towards alleviating the transportation challenges faced by travellers within the state, which include high traffic, bad condition of some roads, overloading, and occurrence of accidents.
He said the initiative fulfilled a commitment he made to the people of Katsina, aimed at offering affordable transportation services for both passengers and the efficient movement of goods.
