A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Sunday Okoro, has called on Nigerians to adopt a positive mindset towards the country’s current economic difficulties.
In a statement released on Saturday, Okoro acknowledged the challenges faced by Nigerians but expressed confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies, saying they will ultimately benefit the people.
Okoro emphasized the need for collective responsibility and unity, urging Nigerians to utilize their unique talents and skills to contribute to the nation’s rebuilding, according to Independent.
He also stressed the importance of rejecting tribalism, nepotism, crime, and corruption, and instead embracing diversity and individual strengths.
Okoro’s statement concludes with a message of hope and unity, urging Nigerians to remain committed to building a greater nation.
The call comes as Nigerians continue to navigate the country’s economic challenges, with many seeking reassurance and guidance from leaders.
The press statement read in part; “A time is coming, and it is closer than ever when Nigeria will rise again to reclaim its greatness. The strength, resilience and hope that define us as a people will bring a new dawn for our beloved nation. But this future will not arrive by itself—our collective responsibility is to make it happen. The current policies of President Tinubu may look harsh now but it is meant to reposition the country. He means well for the citizenry.

“It starts with a change of mindset. We have been blessed with unique talents and skills, gifts from God that we must practically utilise to rebuild this great land.
