The All Progressives Congress in Imo State has commenced the selection process for its candidates for the upcoming Local Government Area Chairmanship and Councillor elections.
According to a press statement by the State Publicity Secretary, Cajetan Duke, the primary election is being conducted across the 27 LGAs and 305 wards in the state, ensuring a level playing field for all aspirants.
“The primary election, which is simultaneously ongoing across the wards and LGA in the state, is expected to be conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner, ensuring a level playing field for all aspirants. The party assures all stakeholders of equal opportunities, adhering to the principles of democracy and internal party mechanisms” he stated.
