Israel-Gaza: Hostage release negotiations continue, says Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the negotiations for the release of hostages are ongoing.

He expressed his solidarity with the hostages and their families, stating that they have been working tirelessly to secure their release since the beginning of the war.

The Prime Minister also mentioned that they have been using increased pressure since the start of the ground incursion. He added that if there is anything concrete to report, they will do so.

Revealing this via his X handle, he wrote, “Our hearts are always with the hostages and their families.

“Since the beginning of the war, we have been working relentlessly for the release of the hostages, including using increased pressure since the start of the ground incursion.

“If and when there will be something concrete to report – we will do so.”

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the death toll from the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine has exceeded 11,000.

The situation in Gaza is dire, with hospitals struggling to cope with the influx of patients and the humanitarian crisis gripping the region.
