The Katsina State Government has announced a minor cabinet reshuffle and new appointments to various boards of parastatals.
The move is aimed at enhancing the delivery of services to the people of Katsina State.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed on Friday, the cabinet reshuffle affects several commissioners who have been moved to new ministries, according to Politics Nigeria.
Dr. Bashir Gambo Saulawa has been moved from the Ministry of Health to the Ministry of Water Resources, while Hajiya Hadiza Yar’Adua has been transferred from the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education to the Ministry of Women Affairs.
In addition, the government has announced new appointments to various boards of parastatals, including the Water Board, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, Health Services Management Board, Primary Health Care Development Agency, and State Agency for the Control of AIDS, among others.
The Governor has charged the new appointees to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to their respective agencies and work towards enhancing the lives of the people of Katsina State.
