Following the death of their party leader, Honourable Lawal Isiyaku Tumburkai, the members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Dandume South, Dandume Local Government, Katsina State, have appointed Honourable Abdullahi Usman Tumburkai (Dillaliya) as the new party leader for the region.
This was announced in a statement released by Yusuf Aliyu Tumbarkai, media aide to the newly appointed party leader, on Monday.
The statement praised Tumburkai for his long-standing commitment and dedication to the party, consistently upholding its values and principles.
