Kwankwaso to discuss policy ideas at Chatham House

The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, is scheduled to speak at Chatham House, London on Wednesday.

Kwankwaso would be discussing his policy ideas for improving Nigeria, if elected, after the forthcoming general elections in February.

His interview would air by 1:00pm GMT, 2:00pm WAT, 4:00pm EAT, on DStv CH 422, StarTimes CH 274.

The presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Peter Obi, was at the House on Monday, fielding questions from the audience and speaking about his vision for policy and governance reforms in Nigeria, including the priorities for tackling deep-rooted insecurity and corruption, and measures to promote social and political mobility for Nigerian citizens.

On Tuesday, it was the turn of the Independent National Electoral Commission chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, who discussed preparations and priorities for ensuring electoral integrity and inclusivity.

He also discussed key challenges and plans for the conduct of the elections, including election security and the use of new technological systems.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was also present at the House in December 2022, where he discussed his vision and recently unveiled manifesto for ‘renewing hope’ in Nigeria including his policy proposals for economic reform and revival and how to deliver secure and inclusive job opportunities for Nigerian citizens.

A notable occurrence at the event was that the former Lagos state governor passed the bulk of the questions to some key members of his entourage who accompanied him.
