The Nigeria Labour Congress has suspended its planned industrial strike over the scarcity of naira notes in the country.
The union had announced earlier, that it will embark on a nationwide indefinite strike from tomorrow, Wednesday, March 29, and picketing of CBN offices across the country, over the cash scarcity that had affected many businesses and Nigerians in general.
However, at the end of its National Executive Council meeting this afternoon, the leaders of NLC gave the Central Bank of Nigeria, two weeks ultimatum, to normalize the money supply nationwide.
