The results of the presidential election in five local governments in Edo state have been announced by Vice Chancellor of the University of Uyo and Edo State Collation Officer, Professor Nyaudoh Ndaeyo.
Results for the five local governments of Igueben, Esan Central, Esan North East, Egor, and Esan South East were made public.
According to the results, the People’s Democratic Party received 15040 votes, placing third behind the All Progressives Congress, which received 18,219 votes.
In the Igueben Local Government, the Labour Party received 6,449 votes, the APC 2,419, and the PDP 3,530.
According to the Collation, Esan Central LP received 10,192 votes, while APC received 4558 and PDP 3692.
Labour Party received 18,973 votes, APC 2,589 votes, and PDP 2,091 votes in Esan North East.
In the Egor local government, he continued, the Labour Party received 40160 votes, the APC 3,978, and the PDP 1,766.
Esan South East LP received 10,511, 4675 APC votes, and 3, 961 PDP votes.
