As Nigerians await the outcome of Saturday’s crucial presidential elections, sorting and counting has started at a polling unit in Lagos State.
Punch Metro reported that the presidential and national assembly elections commenced nationwide around 8:30 a.m., although there were hour-long delays in some states.
Our correspondent reports that about 296 voters were registered at the polling unit 043, Kayode/Fadeyi ward, in Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State.
However, as observed by our correspondent, the voter turnout was low.
