No fewer than eleven Ukrainians have been reportedly killed in missiles and drone attacks fired by the Russian army on Thursday.
The fresh attack came a day after the Western allies promised to supply war tanks to Ukraine.
It was reported that Russian mortar and artillery tanks were fired on more than 60 towns and villages in an arc of territory, advancing Chernihiv and Sumy regions in the northern part, through Kharkiv region in the northeastern part and attempt was made to enter Bakhmut and Avdiivka.
Russia launched 37 airstrikes in which 17 of them were Iranian-made Shahed-136 drones but the Ukrainian military were able to shot them down.
According to the State emergency service’s spokesperson, the attack went through eleven rigions in which thirty five buildings were badly affected, eleven people died and other eleven were wounded.
According to Halyna Panosyan,, “not a single room is left intact, everything got hit, 67 surveying twisted sheets of corrugated metal, crumpled masonry and a big missile crater outside ruined house in Hilevakha near Kyiv.
“There was an extremely loud strike that made me jump up. I was in the room, and i was saved by the fact bedroom is to the other side of the house.”
The attack seems to be the reaction of the Russian army to the western allies’s plan to deploy war tanks in support of Ukraine because this is coming barely a day after the promise of help.
