The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and comedian Seyi Law have both cast their votes in the ongoing Ondo State governorship election.
Tunji-Ojo voted in the early hours of the day at Unit 17, Ward 3, Okeagbe, in the Akoko North West Local Government Area.
He shared details of his voting experience on X noting that he cast his vote at exactly 11:34 a.m. The minister commended the peaceful nature of the election, highlighting the professionalism of electoral officials and the encouraging turnout of voters.
“At exactly 11:34a.m, I cast my vote at unit 17: Ward 3 Okeagbe, Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State, in the #Ondo2024 Governorship Election,” the minister wrote on X where he shared photos of his accreditation and voting process.
“It’s been a peaceful election with officials displaying high-level professionalism coupled with an encouraging turnout of voters.”
Meanwhile, Oluseyi Aletile popularly known as Seyi Law, who serves as the Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment and Tourism to Governor Aiyedatiwa, was also seen casting his vote. He voted at Polling Unit 5, Ugbo Ward 4, in the Obenla community of Ilaje Local Government Area.
