Osinbajo harder to defeat than Tinubu, says Reno Omokri

Osinbajo, Dogara out of Tinubu's campaign council

Reno Omokri, an aide to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has claimed that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo would have been harder for Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to defeat in the 2023 general elections.

Omokri made this known while reacting to the just concluded primary of the All Progressive Congress which was won by the former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu, who scored 1271 votes, defeated his closest opponents, Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who garnered 316 and 235 votes.

According to Omokri, Osinbajo will be harder to defeat than Tinubu, hence the reason he spent his “time and money to campaign” for Tinubu.

He claimed that Atiku would defeat Tinubu in the presidential election.

“far as I am concerned, HE Atiku should start writing his inauguration speech. As long as God spares his life, I do not see anything stopping him from winning the 2023 election.

“I spent time and money campaigning for Tinubu because we knew Osinbajo would be harder to defeat!

“Because of Kwankwaso’s entry into the Presidential race, Northern votes would be split between HE Atiku and Kwankwaso. It is Southern votes that will determine the 2023 election.

“Those of you who thought I was campaigning for Tinubu did not know the strategy. I am not a fool. I could kiss the APC delegates for joy,” he said.
