Osun APC hails Tinubu’s transformational programs

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his series of transformational programmes that have been implemented over the past year.

These programmes, according to the party, have been distributed evenly across the country, addressing various sectors and regions.

In a statement released by the APC Chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, and communicated through the party’s Director of Media and Information, Kola Olabisi, on Thursday, the party highlighted the significant achievements of President Tinubu’s administration.

The statement emphasized that these achievements have defied the expectations of skeptics who doubted Tinubu’s capability to achieve such progress with verifiable and enviable records of outstanding performance.

Lawal noted that President Tinubu’s administration has been marked by tough but necessary decisions that align with his Renewed Hope Agenda. These decisions, according to Lawal, have distinguished Tinubu from previous administrations and have been crucial in keeping the country afloat.

“Whoever has been following the history of President Tinubu’s administration would not hesitate to observe and conclude that the man at the helm of affairs of the nation today did not assume office by accident but he is fully prepared to serve humanity with all his natural endowments,” Lawal stated.

The APC chairman credited President Tinubu’s administration with impactful developments across all economic sectors. He particularly praised Tinubu’s political will to harmonize foreign exchange rates based on advice from the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, recognizing the need for policy changes to reset the economy and build renewed confidence both locally and internationally.

Further, Lawal highlighted the notable abolition of the fuel subsidy regime under Tinubu’s government and the introduction of ameliorative policies to mitigate the impact of this decision.

“It is too recent to forget how President Tinubu offered subsidized bus transport and free train services to over 200,000 Nigerians going home for Christmas and New Year.”

“Part of the ameliorative measures introduced by the Tinubu administration was the announcement of the wage awards of N35,000 the state Federal workers to enable them cope with food inflation and transport costs as a new national minimum wage is being worked out.”

Lawal also commended the Federal Government’s substantial contributions to various sectors, including security, health, marine and blue economy, transportation, youth empowerment, education, and commerce, which collectively have improved the living standards of Nigerians.

“It would not be out of tune to state that the one-year anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has been eventful and that with patience with this government more tangible achievements would be recorded in the overall interest of the people of this country,” Lawal assured.
