Osun: Gunmen attack Labour Party gov candidate’s residence

Gunmen on Monday attacked the residence of the Labour Party Governorship Candidate in Osun State, Lasun Yusuff.

The candidate said the gunmen came around 2am and shot indiscriminately at the building located in the Oke-Ima area of the town, according to BBC Yoruba.

He also explained that there were no casualties recorded as security personnel attached to him were able to repeal the attack.

Yusuff, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, had on Sunday night participated in a governorship debate where he argued for an equipped Amotekun Corps.
