Labour Party governorship candidate, Yusuff Lasun, has slammed All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, over his comments that Labour Party will “labour till death”.
Lasun stated this on Arise News Thursday while reacting to Tinubu’s comments at the re-election rally of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in Osun State on Wednesday.
“Think about your children and vote accordingly so you can see the future. Come out en masse. Don’t mind PDP and other mushroom parties – parties like Labour; they will labour till they die. God will not make you labourers,” Tinubu had said.
Reacting to this, Lasun said, “I pity that man, I pity him. When you wish people dead, then the same thing will happen to you, too.”
Lasun also expressed his optimism that the Labour Party would emerge victorious Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
