The incumbent Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party, has won at the polling unit of former Governor Rashidi Ladoja.

Ladoja, who did not back Makinde for reelection bid, carried out his civic responsibility by casting his vote at ward 10 in the Ibadan North Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that the PDP had 98 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress
candidate, Teslim Folarin, who polled 35 votes at unit 17.
