The acting chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, SKB Ogbuagu, has been reported dead.
According to The PUNCH, he was said to have collapsed during a town hall meeting of the governorship candidate of the party held at the Ezeagu Local Government Area headquarters.
He was said to have had a health crises after the meeting was over when everyone was departing the venue of the meeting.
The acting chairman, who reportedly suffered from asthma, was immediately taken to a neighboring hospital where he passed away.
The terrible situation occurred on Thursday night, but as of the time this article was filed, the party had not yet released an official statement.
In the meantime, attempts to contact the state party chairman, Augustine Nnamani, regarding the event were futile because he did not return calls.
