The Peoples Democratic Party in Kwara State has expressed its deep sorrow following the death of former Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Saka Isau (SAN).
Isau, a prominent member of the party, passed away on Saturday and was buried on Sunday at his Agba Dam area, GRA residence in Ilorin, the state capital.
In a statement issued on Monday, the PDP described Isau as a man of great integrity who dedicated his life to serving humanity and advancing the welfare of his community and Kwara State.
He was recognized as a distinguished legal expert and politician, whose commitment to justice, equity, and service left a lasting impact on the Adewole community and the entire state.
The PDP noted that his passing is a significant loss, not only to the party but to the people of Kwara. His contributions to the state’s development, wisdom, and humility will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The party extended its condolences to Isau’s family, the Adewole community, the Nigerian Bar Association Kwara State Chapter, and everyone whose life was touched by his exemplary work.
It called on his family, friends, and the people of Kwara to find solace in his legacy of service and his many accomplishments in both the legal profession and public service.
The PDP also prayed for forgiveness for his shortcomings and for his soul to be granted Aljannah Firdaus.
We urge his family, associates, and the people of Kwara to take solace in the impactful life he lived, his numerous accomplishments in the legal profession, and his dedication as a distinguished public servant.
“The party prays Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus,” it added.
