The Peoples Democratic Party has released an updated list of members of its National Campaign Council for the Edo State governorship election, slated for September 21.
According to a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the council is chaired by Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, with Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and Kefas Agbu serving as deputy chairmen, according to Daily Post.
Other notable members of the council include former Vice Presidents Atiku Abubakar and Namadi Sambo, Board of Trustees Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, and PDP governors.
The 144-member council is set to be inaugurated on Tuesday, June 4, at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja, as part of the party’s efforts to ensure victory in the upcoming election.
