Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State on Saturday, hosted some traditional rulers and stakeholders in the state, to a meeting.
Disclosing this through the official Twitter page of the Peoples Democratic Party, on Saturday night, Fubara noted that the meeting was held, to have quality interactions with the traditions and the stakeholders, to create a peaceful environment for project execution in the state.
The traditional rulers and stakeholders from the Ogba/Egbema, Ndoni local government area of the state, were all in attendance.
Fubara stated that the main purpose of the meeting was to seek their support for the construction of the Omoku-Egbema road project, being handled by Setraco Nigeria Limited.
The governor however assured that his government will deliver the best standards on the project.
“In our effort to create a peaceful environment to allow for project execution in our communities, I had quality interactions with the traditional rulers and stakeholders of the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area today.
“The purpose is to seek their support for the construction of the Omoku-Egbema road project being handled by Setraco Nigeria Ltd.
“We assured that with close monitoring from our quarters, we shall deliver the best standards on that project,” Fubara wrote.
