The Kaduna State Governor-elect, Senator Uba Sani, and his deputy, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, were issued Certificates of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Friday, March 31, 2023.
This came, following their victory at the March 18 governorship election in the state.
Accordingly, the issuance of the certificate of return included lawmakers-elect to the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
Senator Sani, who won the election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress polled 730,000 votes to defeat his closest rival from the Peoples Democratic Party, Isah Ashiru, who polled 719,196 votes in the election.
