The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, on Saturday, visited the former President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
Lawan was received at the Umar Yaradua Airport, by the Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Dikko Radda.
The Senator representing Yobe North Senatorial District was in the company of his Chief of Staff, Mohammed Babagana Aji; Governor of Yobe, Mai Mala Buni; Former Minister of Power, Abubakar Aliyu.
He made this known via a statement issued on Saturday after the visit.
The statement read, “Earlier today, President of the Senate, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan paid a visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his country home in Dauda, Katsina State.
“Lawan, who was received at the Umar Yaradua Airport, by the governor of the Katsina State, Alhaji Dikko Radda was accompanied by Governor of Yobe, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, former Minister of Power, Abubakar Aliyu and Chief of Staff to the Senate President, Mohammed Babagana Aji.”
