Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State on Wednesday received the German Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development, Ms Svenja Schulze, in Little Rafield, Jos, Plateau State capital.
Mutfwang disclosed this via a post on his X handle on Wednesday, February 8, 2024.
According to him, the Minister visited him to partner on Economic Corporation and Development.
The governor further noted that “it is important to leverage the enduring relationship between Germany and Nigeria, to expand cooperation with Plateau State,” adding that his government is determined to resolve the ongoing security issues in the state.
“I received the German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Ms Svenja Schulze, at the New Government House in Little Rayfield, Jos, Plateau State.
“My administration is determined to resolve the ongoing security issues, and so it is important to leverage the enduring relationship between Germany and Nigeria to expand cooperation with Plateau State.
“We are currently focused on finding sustainable solutions to our security challenges and rely on partnerships with key European countries to assist us in this endeavour.
“We are looking forward to addressing the need to introduce technology to bolster agricultural activities, to tap into German expertise in this area,” Mutfwang tweeted.
