Governors elected under the All Progressives Congress paid a visit to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.
Osinbajo received the APC governors in Abuja in the absence of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
The governors who was visited include by Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, Gombe State, Inuwa Yahaya, Jigawa State, Alhaji Badaru Muhammad, Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, Plateau State, Rt Hon Simon Lalong.
The Vice President said the visit of the governors to the Presidential Villa was for strategic discussion bordering on national issues.
According to the former APC presidential aspirant, they are committed to the quick resolution of the issues discussed during the meeting.
However, the Vice President did not detail what the issues discussed were about.
