The candidate of the Labour Party in the just-concluded 2023 Presidential elections, Mr. Peter Obi today joined the rest of the eligible voters to vote for the governorship and state assembly elections.

However, in Anambra, the election is for the state assembly alone, as the state doesn’t follow the same cycle as most states in the country.

Obi voted at polling unit 19 in Agulu 2 ward of Anaocha LGA. He was accompanied by his wife, Margaret Obi who also voted in the same polling unit.

Obi is contesting the 2023 Presidential elections in court stating that the elections that brought the president-elect Bola Tinubu to power are flawed.
