First Lady Oluremi Tinubu on Friday attended the closing ceremony of the women ICT training program by the National Information Technology Development Agency.
The Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital, Bosun Tijani, was also present at the event.
The women ICT training empowerment program was an initiative of the First lady’s Renewed Hope and the NITDA.
Presentation of gifts and award was done after the ceremony to certain beneficiaries.
The initiative is aimed at transforming lives and paving the way for bridging digital divide and providing a brighter future for women in technology.
The agency made this announcement in a statement issued via its X handle on Friday, sharing pictures from the event.
It read, “The First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator @SenRemiTinubu, Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Nigeria, Dr @bosuntijani; Director General, @NITDANigeria, @KashifuInuwa, attended the closing ceremony of Women ICT Training Empowerment Programme organised by NITDA, in collaboration with Renewed Hope Initiative.
