First Lady Oluremi Tinubu on Tuesday visited the Deputy Secretary General, Amina Mohammed, in New York, United States.
Recall that, Remi Tinubu had met with Mrs. Mohammed during the 78th United Nations General Assembly last week.
She revealed that their talks centred around Nigerian women and how the United Nations can help in improving their economic empowerment, social investment, and improved health care.
This meeting marks the second between both leaders within a week.
Revealing the details of their second meeting, Mrs. Tinubu wrote via her X handle on Wednesday that they once again discussed extensively on various issues affecting Nigerian women and children, including health, economic empowerment and agricultural development.
She wrote, “Earlier on Tuesday, I was received at the United Nations in New York by the Deputy Secretary General Amina Mohammed. We once again discussed extensively on various issues affecting Nigerian women and children, including health, economic empowerment and agricultural development.
“Nigeria’s presence at the United Nations was heart warming. Thank you Amina Mohammed for making Nigeria proud, thank you for making women proud.”
