Police nab two following sudden death of Fani-Kayode’s aide

A devastating incident has unfolded in Abuja, resulting in the loss of Ndifreke Saviour Mark, a devoted aide to former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode.

Mark’s life was cut short when he suddenly slumped and died at Mildy Lodge and Apartments hotel in Garki, Abuja.

The circumstances surrounding Mark’s death have led to the arrest of two individuals, including the person he was with at the time of his demise and the hotel receptionist.

According to police reports, Mark had checked into the hotel and spent time with this individual before collapsing.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, with Fani-Kayode demanding a thorough probe and autopsy. The hotel manager and owner have also been questioned in connection with the case, according to Daily Post.

As part of the investigation, the hotel was sealed off for two days, and the room where Mark stayed remains sealed. The police are working to unravel the events leading to Mark’s tragic death.

This shocking incident has sent shockwaves through Nigeria’s political circles, with many offering condolences to Fani-Kayode and Mark’s family. The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.

“The individual he was with at the time of his death in the hotel is now in police custody and I have insisted on a full criminal investigation of the matter and an autopsy.

” The hotel receptionist has also been detained by the police whilst both the manager and the owner of the hotel were invited for questioning earlier this week”, he added.

He also revealed that the hotel was sealed up by the police for two days after the incident, stating that the “room in which he lodged remains sealed till today”.
