Tech billionaire Elon Musk has shared his thoughts on the United States presidential election debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a post on his X handle on Wednesday, Musk commented on the 90-minute debate in Philadelphia, stating that the ABC presidential debate hosts were not fair to Trump.

Musk said: “While I don’t think the debate hosts were fair to @realDonaldTrump, @KamalaHarris exceeded most people’s expectations tonight.”

However, he emphasized that the debate is not just about saying nice-sounding words, and expressed his belief that Trump will do a far better job.

He continued: “That said, when it comes to getting things done, not just saying nice-sounding words, I strongly believe that Trump will do a far better job.”

Musk also questioned Harris’s ability to deliver on her promises, saying: “After all, if Kamala can do great things, why hasn’t she? Biden rarely shows up for work, so she’s basically in charge already.”

He concluded by framing the election as a choice between continuing current trends or seeking change, asking: “The question comes down to this: do you want current trends to continue for 4 more years or do you want change?”
