The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, stated on Tuesday that all ongoing projects in Abuja are in line with President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” Agenda.
Speaking during an inspection of the ongoing construction of the five-kilometre Saburi-Dei Dei road in Abuja, Wike emphasized that the administration’s efforts are aimed at fulfilling the president’s promise to improve governance and deliver essential public services.
Wike highlighted that good governance involves providing vital infrastructure, ensuring transparency and accountability, as well as improving security, healthcare, and education, according to Daily Post.
He pointed out that all the work being carried out in the FCT is part of this broader commitment to good governance.
The minister also expressed satisfaction with the positive feedback from the residents of Abuja, noting that the transformation underway is resonating with the people.
He added that their appreciation of the government’s efforts is a source of pride for the administration.
“Good governance is inclusive of the provision of basic infrastructure, being transparent and accountable, providing security and providing quality health and education to the people.
“All the things that we have been doing in FCT are part of good governance.
“We are happy that the people appreciate what we are doing. This is very important to us that the people are happy.”
