The Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has extended his greetings to the Muslims as they celebrate Eid-El Maulud.
In his goodwill message signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime, Soludo noted that the event holds great importance for Muslims worldwide.
He added that the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad inspire values of peace, tolerance and unity.
According to the statement, “The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad inspire values of peace, tolerance and unity, which are essential for the progress and harmony of any society.
“In celebrating this occasion, we are reminded of the responsibility we all share in building a more inclusive, harmonious, and progressive society, as well as sharing the spirit of generosity and kindness with fellow citizens.
“In Anambra State, we remain committed to upholding the values of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence that are central to the ethos of our great nation.
“Together, regardless of our faith, we can build a prosperous Anambra State and a better Nigeria.”
