A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Delta State, Chief Isaac Emetitiri, has called on President Bola Tinubu to prioritise the building of more railways across the country as part of the measures to relieve Nigerians from the effects of the subsidy removal.
Giving this advice to the President in Abuja, the APC Chieftain said building railways to connect all states in Nigeria will ease transportation while also creating employment for unemployed youths.
According to the former governorship aspirant, the long-term plan, such as building additional railways, will enable Nigerians to travel conveniently, noting that it will ultimately become the best palliative for subsidy removal.
Commending the efforts of the president for his policies and programmes, the politician urged Nigerians to support the administration of Tinubu, saying party affiliation does not really matter in nation-building.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid his dues by making Lagos State approximately self-reliant.
“Therefore, it is an appeal to Nigerians to support President Tinubu and allow him to serve Nigeria with his knowledge in all sectors,” he said.
