The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has urged All Progressives Congress standard-bearer, Bola Tinubu, to pay attention to his health.
Kwankwaso said this in an interview with Arise Television on Sunday, urging the former Lagos State governor to take the issue of his health seriously.
This is coming following comments that Tinubu was ill after he was spotted at an Eid sitting on a chair to perform his prayers.
Addressing rumours of his ill-health in the buildup to the APC presidential primaries, Tinubu had said, “I have the brain and the capacity. If you hear them saying, he is sick, I didn’t apply for the job of the race running. I didn’t apply for the job of bricklaying. I went to school to study Accountancy and Management.”
Speaking on Sunday, Kwankwaso said, “If you see my friend, Bola, tell him to take it easy, take good care of his health and make sure that… because I love him so much, he is my friend. This campaign is very rigorous, it requires a lot of effort and so on and so forth. I hope he will take it easy so that we can continue the struggle to ensure one solid and prosperous Nigeria.”
